MicroStrategy has once again added to its already massive Bitcoin treasury, purchasing an additional $22.1 million worth of BTC as prices briefly dipped below $110,000 last week.
According to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing released Monday, the company acquired 196 BTC at an average price of $113,048 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 640,031 BTC. Altogether, MicroStrategy has spent about $47.35 billion on its Bitcoin accumulation, with an average purchase price of $73,983 per BTC.

The company, led by co-founder and executive chairman Michael Saylor, remains the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder, far surpassing Tesla, Block, and other publicly traded firms with crypto on their balance sheets.
Saylor Stays Optimistic on Bitcoin’s Year-End Outlook
While the $22 million addition marks one of MicroStrategy’s smallest weekly purchases to date, Saylor reiterated his long-term bullish stance. Speaking last week, he predicted that Bitcoin’s price would begin to strengthen by year-end as institutional adoption grows and macroeconomic headwinds ease.

“I think that as we work through the resistance of late and some macro headwinds, we’ll actually see Bitcoin start to move up smartly again toward the end of the year,” Saylor said.
His remarks come amid heightened volatility across crypto markets, with Bitcoin dipping below $110,000 before rebounding to $113,000 at press time.
MicroStrategy Stock Slides Despite Long-Term Gains
Despite the company’s continued Bitcoin accumulation, MicroStrategy shares (MSTR) have faced pressure. On Wednesday, MSTR slid to $300.7, its lowest level since April and a six-month low, according to TradingView.

CryptoQuant analyst Maartunn described the move as “painful” for the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, while others noted the sharp drawdowns reflect the risks tied to BTC’s volatility.
Still, long-term supporters remain undeterred. MicroStrategy bull Julius reminded investors that MSTR is up more than 2,300% in the current bull market, despite enduring 30% pullbacks this cycle and a 56% decline in April 2025.
As of press time, MSTR is still up 96% over the past year and more than 2,000% in the last five years, underscoring the company’s unique role as a hybrid of corporate stock and Bitcoin exposure.
