Giggle Academy said it had not issued the Giggle Fund token, GIGGLE, in a November 4, 2025 statement reproduced by ForkLog.
The education initiative founded by Changpeng Zhao described the token as community initiated. It said it appreciated community donations and had created a page disclosing income and expenses.
Donations do not establish who issued a token
The clarification followed publicity around a Binance pledge to direct part of GIGGLE trading fees toward charitable initiatives. A token sending money to an organization does not, by itself, establish that the recipient created, controls or endorses the token.
The distinction matters when a traded asset uses a familiar person’s name, branding or charitable purpose. Buyers need to verify the relationship rather than infer it from the ticker or donation destination.
Claims about manipulation require evidence
Price volatility and critical social-media comments do not establish market manipulation or wrongdoing by a named individual. The earlier article included accusations without evidence sufficient to establish them.

Editor’s note: The article now separates token issuance from charitable donations. Unsubstantiated accusations and unrelated political claims have been removed.
