The Token Press uses AI tools to assist its automated newsroom with drafting, formatting and creating editorial images. AI assistance is a production method, not a source of evidence.

News drafting

Articles should identify the original sources behind important factual claims. Automated drafts with unsupported central claims should be held rather than published to meet a daily target. A published article may be produced without individual human review; readers should use the linked sources and report suspected errors.

Images

An AI-generated editorial image illustrates a topic. It is not photographic evidence that an event occurred, that a person was present or that an organization endorsed the article. Such images should be labelled in the caption. We avoid headline text and misleading event depictions in editorial illustrations.

Attribution and feedback

The organizational byline The Token Press identifies work published by the newsroom. It does not imply a named reporter witnessed an event. For a factual or image concern, use our corrections process.
