News drafting
Articles should identify the original sources behind important factual claims. Automated drafts with unsupported central claims should be held rather than published to meet a daily target. Routine reports may be produced without individual human review. New sensitive newsroom drafts, including tax, legal developments and security incidents, require a recorded review by the designated editor, Eddy Lionet, before publication. Automated checks are not human review. Older articles should not be assumed to have received this review. Readers can inspect the linked sources and report suspected errors.
Images
An AI-generated editorial image illustrates a topic. It is not photographic evidence that an event occurred, that a person was present or that an organization endorsed the article. Such images should be labelled in the caption. We avoid headline text and misleading event depictions in editorial illustrations.
Attribution and feedback
The organizational byline The Token Press identifies work published by the newsroom. It does not imply a named reporter witnessed an event. Automated articles use this organizational byline rather than assigning a person’s identity by a software rule.
